Eve tells Karen she and Ian have happily reunited, thanks in part to Amy. Amy tries to convince herself she doesn't love Ian and needs to carry out her plot to kill him. However, when he tells her that he was honest with Eve about his attraction to her, she misunderstands that he loves her and realizes she can't go through with her deadly mission. Rafe realizes he only dreamed Alison would fill the 5th chair, then wonders if it could be true. Ali realizes he fears she's the 5th chair, but tells him to focus on the time they have left instead. Ed learns the identity of the 5th chair, someone young and vital.
