The loss of family members, home and community created a sense of emotional trauma that would take years to overcome. Now, a survey of these survivors has yielded some surprising results: many view their experience positively. Actress Keiko Kitagawa, herself a survivor, looks at ways in which people who have lived through the disaster are finding a way forward.
