De obicei, viața în închisoare poate avea două efecte asupra unui om: îl face mai puternic sau îl doboară. Pentru Driver (Dwayne Johnson), cei zece ani petrecuți în spatele gratiilor l-au întărit, alimentându-i constant dorința de a răzbuna moartea fratelui său.
