Alexander Mariotti

Alexander Mariotti is a historian, weaponologist, and TV presenter based in Rome and London. He focuses on Ancient Roman and Greek history, specializing in Gladiatorial combat and the Roman Military. A fellow of the British Institute of Roman history, Alexander has dedicated over 20 years to the teaching, preservation and furthering of knowledge on Ancient Roman history and culture. Working between Rome, Italy, and London, UK teaching, researching, guiding and sharing his knowledge about the ancient world, he has personally guided some of the most known celebrities and public people in the world. Alexander has worked on Tv shows as a historical advisor and spoken as an expert on History, National Geographic, Discovery, CBS, and Italian TV. He is an expert on Gladiatorial combat and the Roman military, appearing most recently on History Channel's Colosseum series.
