Shree Krishna Shrestha was a Nepalese actor and producer who rose to fame and fortune in Nepali cinema. He was born on April 19, 1967 in Kathmandu, Nepal. He had a passion for acting and dancing since his childhood and pursued his dream of becoming a star. He made his debut in 1989 with the film Bhumari, which was a hit at the box office. He then went on to star in many successful films, showcasing his versatility and charisma as an actor and dancer. Some of his most notable films include Maiti, Aafno Manche, A Mero Hajur, Hami Tin Bhai, Kaha Bhetiyela and Kohinoor. He also produced some of his own films, such as Kaha Bhetiyela and Kohinoor, which broke all the records of Nepali cinema and earned him critical acclaim and awards. He was widely regarded as one of the most popular and celebrated stars of Nepali cinema and one of the highest-paid actors in the industry. He had a huge fan following across Nepal and abroad. He was married to actress Sweta Khadka in July 2014, but sadly passed away a month later on August 10, 2014 in New Delhi, India due to pneumonia and multiple organ failure. He was 47 years old. His death was mourned by millions of his fans and the entire Nepali film fraternity. He is remembered as a legend of Nepali cinema and a source of inspiration for many aspiring actors.
