Mar, an 11-year-old girl from Delta de lEbre, sees her home threatened by climate change and a river transfer plan that endangers the rice fields where her family works. Unable to go on vacation, she begins to connect with the landscape and discovers she can communicate with birds. She befriends a shy Crane, an elegant non-binary Flamingo, and a brave Queenfisher, with whom she discovers the magic and fragility of her surroundings. When efforts to stop the water transfer fail, Mar and her feathered friends manage to convince all the birds to form a symbol in the sky that ends up going viral, inspiring collective responsibility and commitment to nature.
